EA and Bioware to release Mass Effect Trilogy compilation, includes ME1 for PS3

EA and Bioware have announced plans to release a 'Mass Effect Trilogy' package as a part of celebrations of what they're calling 'N7 Day' - on November 7th. The package will launch a day in advance on November 6th.

Bioware's Mac Walters, the lead writer on Mass Effect 3, has revealed to a UK magazine that the game will feature some mission content that was cut from Mass Effect 2 originally, diving deeper into the Citadel in a mission reminiscent of the Citadel sections of the first game in the series.

The Mass Effect 2 digital comic that was shipped with the Playstation 3 version of the game is now availablw for the Xbox 360 version of the game several months after the PS3 version shipped.

Title Mass Effect 2: Genesis, the comic was included free with the PS3 version of the game. The Xbox 360 version will set fans back 320 Microsoft Points if they want to have access to the comic.

EA Germany seems to have gone early on the announcement of details regarding the final piece of downloadable content for Mass Effect 2 titled 'Arrival', revealing the date, a couple of new screenshots and exactly what the content involves.

According to EA Germany, the DLC will see Shepard and company head out to the very border of the galaxy to rescue an undercover agent who claims she has evidence of an incoming invasion of the Reapers.
