Bethesda has just sent us over a selection of screenshots Dragonborn, the latest piece of Skyrim DLC set for release next month.

Dragonborn is notable as it sees players leave the now-familiar land of Skyrim to travel to the coastal island of Solstheim. Well that was fast. As promised earlier in the week, Bethesda has shed some light on Skyrim's Danwguard DLC for PC and PS3.

The PC version is now available on Steam for .99. As for the PS3 version, unfortunately those fans will have to wait just a little bit longer. Their reasoning is this: “We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren’t going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people’s experience in Skyrim will be worse.”

PC and PS3 users fear not, Bethesda has not forgotten you in their pursuit of making money from add-on content.

Bethesda's Pete Hines made comment over on Twitter about the status of Dawnguard, which launched on Xbox 360 over a month ago. “Just sit tight. We’ll have info soon,” he says after various complaints about the status of the DLC on PC and PS3.
